What changed
Adding a campaign to a Signature Designer signature used to copy the banner's image, link, size and dates into that signature. Later edits on the Campaigns page didn't reach signatures that already used it, and a campaign that had ended could leave an empty gap.
Signatures now follow the campaign itself, so one edit on the Campaigns page is all it takes. There's nothing to set up your existing signatures pick this up automatically.
In the emails your people send
Always current. The banner shows the campaign's latest image, link and schedule. Edit the campaign once; you don't need to assign it again.
No empty gaps. When a campaign ends, its banner disappears and the layout closes up.
Schedule respected. A scheduled campaign stays hidden from recipients until its start date, and a deleted campaign never appears.
Correct proportions. Replace the image and it fits the banner's size without stretching.
In Signature Designer
Campaign banner properties now show three things:
Size — the largest space the banner may take
Displays as — the size it actually renders at (read-only)
Schedule — the campaign's status: Active, Scheduled or Ended
What you see is what's sent. The canvas shows the banner as it will go out. The Preview pane labels scheduled campaigns and hides ended ones.
Thumbnails and previews show active campaigns only both the signature list thumbnail and the per-user Preview.
Ask AI. Use Show all campaigns to insert a live campaign banner.
Things to know
Ended campaigns are read-only. You can't edit, extend or assign them. To run one again, use Duplicate.
In Ask AI, use "Show all campaigns" for a live banner. Naming a campaign instead for example, "use my Summer Sale campaign" inserts a plain image that won't update or expire with the campaign.
Legacy Editor. The Scheduled and Ended tags in the editor preview now appear as soon as the preview loads and reflect edits made on the Campaigns page. Legacy Editor signatures are otherwise unchanged.
