Front Integration Setup Guide

What is Front?

Front is a customer communication platform that brings emails, apps, and teammates into a single collaborative inbox. Teams use Front to manage shared inboxes like support@, sales@, and info@ while maintaining personal communication workflows.

BulkSignature integrates with Front to automatically install and manage email signatures for your entire team.

Requirements

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • An active BulkSignature account

  • A Front account with admin access

  • Permission to create API tokens in Front

Setup Guide

Part 1: Generate an API Token in Front

  • Log in to your Front account.

  • Click your profile icon (bottom-left) → Settings.

Go to DevelopersAPI Tokens.

Step 2: Create a New Token

  • Click the Create API token button (or the + icon).


2. Enter a clear, descriptive name for the token in the Token details screen—we recommend naming it BulkSignature.


Step 3: Configure Feature Access

  • Review and toggle on the features that BulkSignature requires to operate.


    Step 4: Set Namespace Access

  • Define which resources the token should access.

  • Select both Private resources and Global resources so BulkSignature can manage signatures for individual team members.


    3. Click Continue.

Step 5: Assign Resource Permissions, grant read, write, and delete permissions for Signatures, and read permission for Teammates





Part 2: Connect BulkSignature to Front

  1. Log in to BulkSignature.

  2. Go to SettingsIntegrationsFront.


3. Paste your API token and click Activate.



How It Works

After the integration is set up:

  • Automatic deployment – Signatures are pushed to Front for all assigned users

  • Real-time updates – When you edit a template in BulkSignature, changes sync to Front automatically

  • User data sync – Employee information (name, title, phone) is updated every 24 hours in signatures

  • No manual work – Users don't need to copy-paste or configure anything in Front

Note:

Add New Users: Add the user to Company Data, assign them to a signature template, and their signature will automatically appear in Front.

Remove the Integration:

Go to Settings → Integrations → Front and click Disconnect – signatures will be removed from Front.
