Keeping your team’s brand consistent just got a whole lot easier!
You can now manage and automate email signatures for shared "send as" group addresses (like support@ or sales@) ensuring every outgoing customer message looks polished, professional, and perfectly on-brand.
When your employees send emails on behalf of a group alias using Gmail’s Send-as feature, your customized group signatures are applied automatically behind the scenes.
What’s New
Automated, Smart Syncing: The system automatically reads each user's Gmail Send-as list and imports shared addresses effortlessly. To keep your directory pristine, unverified entries and suspended users are automatically skipped, and re-importing never creates duplicates.
Clutter-Free Organization: Enjoy a clearer, family-based directory view. Primary owners appear at the top level, with their alias and shared addresses neatly organized underneath as labeled alias and group alias. Built-in search, filters, and counters work seamlessly per family so your workspace stays organized.
One-Click Enablement: Quickly turn the feature on or off via Settings > General (Google Workspace). Flipping the switch brings in shared entries on your next import without ever touching your users' personal aliases.
Targeted Signature Modes: Effortlessly route your branding on the Assign-to page using two independent modes Group members and Group email senders. Shared signatures install precisely where they belong on the matching Send-as entry, leaving the owner's primary signature untouched.
Seamless Personal Aliases: Personal aliases continue to work smoothly, remaining fully assignable in user-specific signatures while following their owner's organizational unit.
Good to Know
Note: Turning off Group Alias removes signatures assigned in Group email senders mode. Deleting an owner permanently removes that shared address family, though you can easily restore families from the Excluded Users list at any time.
