Configuring a Default Profile Image for Users

Overview

When a user hasn't uploaded a profile photo to their Google account, your email signature may display a blank space or broken image icon. To maintain a professional and consistent appearance across your organization, BulkSignature allows you to set a Default Image that automatically appears when a user's photo is missing.

How It Works

BulkSignature checks whether each user has a profile photo:

  • If the user has a photo β†’ Display their profile photo

  • If not β†’ Display your company logo as the default

This ensures every signature looks complete and professional, even for users who haven't uploaded a profile picture.

How to Set Up the Default Profile Image

Step 1. Go to Signature Management and edit your signature template.

Step 2. In the editor sidebar, click on Widgets.

Step 3. Drag the Profile Photo widget into your signature layout.

Step 4. Click on the Profile Photo widget to open its settings.

Step 5. In the Visibility section, enable the option "Use company logo if photo is not uploaded".

Step 6. Click Save.

That's it! Users without a profile photo will now display your company logo in their email signature instead of a blank space.
